All our Bereavement Volunteers go through training before they are able to work with clients. Initial training is a 60 hour course, which take place over several weekends. There is a requirement to do 15 hours of ongoing training every year for all volunteers working with clients and is organised by Cruse Cumbria.

We are committed to ongoing support and personal development for all our volunteers. They are supported in their work by regular supervision. Supervision courses are held from time to time and both internal and external applicants can apply to train as supervisors.
